Fifteen years ago my husband and
I needed a few upholstery
supplies for a home project we
were doing. I found Carolina
Upholstery Shop & Showroom in
the Yellow Pages, and I made the
call. I was impressed with
Lynn's friendly and
knowledgeable manner over the
phone so I drove to the shop to
buy my supplies.
I
was not disappointed upon
meeting him in person and was
equally impressed with the shop
he had designed and
constructed. While I talked
with Lynn and purchased my
supplies couldn't help but
notice a large, fluffy white cat
laying on one of the shop's work
benches. Since I am a "cat
fancier", this too made me feel
at home there.
Last year when my sister asked
if I knew anyone who could
reupholster an old beloved
family chair from our childhood,
Lynn Davis came to mind
immediately due to that first
visit those many years ago.
That chair, our "Wizard of Oz"
chair that we used to watch
television in is now fully
reconditioned and in my sister's
living room.
